My name is Erika Wong. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and mom of 3. My career in nutrition has taken me through some interesting adventures. From Boston to L.A., from consulting to cooking, from traveling to public speaking. At the end of the day, I have always remained committed to helping people eat well in a simple, no-fuss kind of way.
In today’s culture, everybody seems to have a special (often trendy) eating plan such as low-carb, gluten free, Paleo, vegan, keto, ‘clean,’ fasting, etc. My nutrition philosophy is based on science and common sense, not extreme or drastic changes. It’s easy to get distracted by the fad of the day, or become afraid of the next food or ingredient that is villainized. But keeping the focus on the more fundamental issues - like how to consistently cook and eat more vegetables - is where the real change can begin.
